In business since 1866, Brooks has figured out a few things about what makes a comfortable (and beautiful) bicycle saddle. A perfectly valid reason for not buying a Brooks would be the concern that your bicycle is too ugly to support such a beautiful piece of leather. True, most bikes would look ungainly in comparison to the Brooks' grace but, I assure you, the bike will be kept cleaner and in better tune once the new seat is on. It is as inevitable as the comparatively higher performance of beautiful race cars. The pretty ones get all the attention.
