Hohm Functional Models

From Bonhams:
A large-scale instructional model of a Chevrolet car, by Hohm models, Germany, of mainly metal construction, Chevrolet 6-cylinder vehicle with articulated functioning controls, lights, gears (3-speed and reverse) cut-away to reveal workings, suspension and brakes, with cut-away engine block to reveal workings of pistons, valves, and spark plugs, mounted on a control-panel base, length of model 100cm.
Being a sucker for functional models, salesman samples and cutaways, I am completely smitten with the Hohm models destined for mechanical and driving schools. Sure, the Revell Visible V-8 model kits offer much of the educational benefit, but the inferior consumer grade construction does not encourage serious investigation (or play.)

Not convinced that the Hohm model is the pinnacle of engineering and education? Check out the video.
