In the 1960's, Allen Kraus fitted a 1948 Ford pickup truck cab on a 1949 Case tractor to provide a more commodious passenger compartment for field work. As these things tend to get out of hand, he later added the fenders and hood for aesthetic reasons.Allen's Case-Ford tractor is one of 460 vintage tractors that travel the 140 mile route of the Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade parade.
