Navarro Creeper from Mister Jalopy Collection in Art Show

During the 1940's, Barney Navarro was a force at the dry lakes racing scene both as a competitor and as a manufacturer of speed equipment parts in the then nascent performance auto parts industry. A few years ago, I attended the Navarro auction when he was closing his Glendale speed shop after a jillion years. Of the historic treasures, I purchased his creeper. When Larry Hurst asked if I had any noteworthy relics for a hot rod art show, I immediately thought of the creeper that has seen it all.
