My friend Paul visited the Golden State Model Railroad Museum in Richmond, California last weekend. It's a 10,000 sq. ft. building with lots and lots of model railroad track running throughout. What is it about recreating worlds in miniature that's so compelling? I won't claim to understand it, but I definitely feel the attraction.
