Dinosaur-Giraffe Creature Thing

This was another one of my favorite old carousels in Paris, at the Museum of Natural History. What are these fine beasts? The answer should be clear to all of us. They're the final link in that evolutionary chain. At last... we see the logical progression, from dinosaur to giraffe to... sea lion. We've found the missing link.
