With great pride, I am happy to announce that my African violets are blooming again. With the possible exception of a cactus, the African violet has proven to be hardiest plant to ever grace my kitchen sink windowsill. After considerable neglect, the violet will start to look a little lackluster and a close inspection invariably reveals that it is absolutely desiccated. The African violet is the friend of the forgetful as it always rebounds within an hour of watering.
