Totoro Forest Project

The Totoro Forest Project art auction has recently started up. More than 200 works of art have been created by some amazing artists "in the fields of animation, comic books, illustration, and fine arts" to raise a little bit of dough for a much beloved forest (8750 acres worth) in a massive city (Tokyo).

There's a wide variety of work in the gallery, from obviously Totoro-esque to vaguely totoro-ish with a twist. If you can't afford to bid it's worth a browse.
