Airplane Kit at Thrift Store

D+R reader Bill was trolling his local thrift store when he came upon an unbuilt airplane kit still in the crate! Son-of-a-dip! One can imagine a number of sad scenarios that would lead to this donation. I like that the airplane running gear also serves as a mechanism to move around the crate. Clever!

From Bill:

I walked into are local Hospice thrift store (Inverness Florida) the other day and had to do a double take! At first I thought it was some do it yourself furniture or something, then I looked closer, it was a real Airplane kit! Proof that you can find just about anything at garage sales and thrift stores.

Thanks, Bill!
