Remember back in the day? When giant Zeppelin airships were poised to dominate the future of air travel? That was during the 1930s, and I wasn't around at the time, so I only know what I've read in history books.

Today, however, the Zeppelins are back, and yesterday I got to fly on one. Owned and operated by a Bay Area startup called Airship Ventures, the brand-new Zeppelin NT will be based at Moffett Field, California and it should become a familiar sight in the local skies as the company begins carrying passengers on sightseeing flights.

Here's my flight report, and here's a link to lots more photos. Wheeeeee!
