FINDING THE REAL DEAL

Dinosaurs and Robots is a blog about objects by Mister Jalopy and Mark Frauenfelder.

Rather than focus on the newest trend, we will seek authentic, handy, rarefied, disgusting, illuminating, delicious, mysterious, intoxicating, commonplace, historic, intensely personal, entertaining and enlightened objects, both priceless heirlooms and exquisite trash.

WHO IS GREG ALLEN?

Business drop-out Greg Allen chose the righteous path and is now a filmmaker, artist and D+R guest blogger, while his better half is a NASA astrophysicist. As a long time D+R reader, Greg has been our resident art expert for years, capably answering Donald Judd questions when they arise. In addition to editing the high style daddytypes.com, Greg also ruminates at greg.org.

Robyn Miller!

WHO IS ROBYN MILLER?

To the best of our knowledge, Robyn's body was mysteriously fused with a plastic dwarf toy. No one knows exactly how it happened, but things haven't been the same since. He's now available on eBay for only $3.50, which he believes is a real steal. Before the accident, Robyn enjoyed occasionally painting, writing music, and directing video games.
