Mitzi Gaynor Dance Number

Fantastically exuberant and stylized dance number from "The I Don't Care Girl" (1953) choreographed by Jack Cole that makes use of flat colors and extreme angles to mimic 2-D images. It's all about the profile. Kinda like reverse trompe l'oeil or watching a comic strip in action (makes me think of Harvey Kurtzman's "The Jungle"). Don't cheat yourself by not watching the whole thing and missing the parade of Victorian prudes. I plum love Mitzi Gaynor's sharp, goofy embodiment of a girl who just doesn't care. This is my theme song today, so nyeah!
