In addition to books, Mark gave me a hand me down, broken-down Seeburg 100 jukebox. Though impressive workhorses, these old analog machines really don't like to sit around unused. They tend to gum up. Also, this particular machine has been subject to lots of previous repairs/modifications of inconsistent quality. All part of the game, though. It is interesting, I must admit, to open up these machines and see the telltale marks of somebody being in there before you. The Select-O-Matic mechanism has the name "Juan" penciled on the side and was missing half the washers. Oh, Juan, what did you do?
